There are times in life when we know that something is changing, even if we don’t yet know exactly what the next chapter will look like.
That feeling of possibility — of wondering “What comes next for me?” — is at the heart of Future Intentions for Women.
Over the past few months, there has been quite a lot happening behind the scenes as Future Intentions has found its new direction, its new name and, most importantly, its own new home.
And now it feels like the right time to share a little more about where we are going.
Future Intentions for Women has grown from a desire to continue something that mattered deeply — creating encouragement, support and opportunities for women to think about their futures.
The name Future Intentions for Women feels right because it isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about having the space to think.
To pause.
To explore possibilities.
To ask yourself what you might want next.
And perhaps most importantly, to realise that it is never too late to start something new.
A place for your next chapter
Future Intentions for Women is particularly focused on women 50+.
Because reaching 50 doesn’t mean that our story is finished. In many ways, it can be the point where we begin to look at life differently.
Perhaps you’ve spent years building a career.
Perhaps you’ve cared for children, parents or other family members.
Perhaps you’ve stepped away from work and are wondering what comes next.
Maybe you’ve experienced a major life change.
Or perhaps nothing dramatic has happened at all — you simply have a growing feeling that there is something more you’d like to explore.
Whatever your circumstances, your next chapter doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
There is no timetable.
No right answer.
And no need to have everything figured out before you take the first step.
What we’re creating
Future Intentions for Women is being created as a place to find clarity, confidence and connection as you explore what might come next.
That will include practical resources, ideas, encouragement and opportunities to connect with other women who are also thinking about their future.
Some of our resources will help you explore work and business possibilities.
Others will be about confidence, wellbeing, personal development and simply taking time to think about what matters to you.
And sometimes the most valuable thing we can offer is a little encouragement to take that first small step.
A new home, but the same intention
Although Future Intentions for Women has a new name and a new home, the intention behind it remains at the heart of everything we do.
It’s about believing in possibilities.
It’s about recognising the experience and knowledge that women bring with them.
And it’s about creating a space where women can stop and ask:
“What do I want my future to look like?”
You don’t have to know the answer straight away.
Sometimes asking the question is where everything begins.
Looking ahead
There is lots happening behind the scenes at Future Intentions for Women, and we’re looking forward to sharing more over the coming months.
We’ll be adding new resources to the website, creating opportunities to connect and sharing ideas and stories that we hope will inspire you to think about your own next chapter.
