Sometimes finding your next step is easier when you don’t have to work it out alone.
Future Intentions for Women is about more than guides and workbooks. It’s also about connection, conversation and encouragement — bringing women together to share ideas, experiences and possibilities for what might come next.
Whether you’re starting again, thinking about a new direction, exploring an idea or simply wondering “What next?”, being around other women who understand can make all the difference.
From connection to action
Our community begins with something simple: getting together.
A coffee, a conversation, a chance to meet other women and talk about what’s happening in your life. No pressure, no expectations and no need to have everything figured out.
From those connections, some women may want to take things a little further through an accountability group — a smaller group where women can share their intentions, encourage one another and take those all-important small steps towards making things happen.
This approach has its roots in the work of Liz Bowers (Hempshall), founder of Future Intentions Yorkshire. Liz ran a social group for women, and from those friendships and connections, some women went on to become part of an accountability group.
We’d love to continue that spirit through Future Intentions for Women.
York – Finding your next step together in York
Starting in September 2026 – we’re exploring the development of a friendly, informal community for women in and around York.
It would be a chance to meet for coffee, have a chat, share ideas and make new connections with women who are also thinking about what comes next.
As the community grows, we hope to develop opportunities for women who would like to move from those informal connections into a small accountability group.

Malton – Finding your next step together in Malton
Starting in September 2026 – we’re also exploring opportunities to bring women together in Malton and the surrounding area to continue the previous work of Liz Bowers.
The idea is simple: create a welcoming space where women can connect, share experiences and explore their future intentions together.
More details will be added as the Malton community develops.
